Key Responsibilities:
Develop and optimize
memory compilers
and
Fast Cache instances
for cutting-edge cores.
Perform
memory margin analysis, characterization, and quality checks
for SRAM and related memory blocks.
Contribute to
circuit-level design and optimization
focusing on high-speed and low-power performance.
Work closely with architecture and verification teams to meet project specifications.
Analyze and implement
Power-Performance-Area (PPA)
trade-offs to achieve optimal design outcomes.
Support silicon bring-up, debug, and validation activities.
Required Skills & Experience:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in
Electronics / Electrical / VLSI Engineering
or equivalent.
5+ years
of hands-on experience in
SRAM / Memory Design, Characterization, and Validation
.
Strong understanding of
CMOS transistor behavior
,
circuit design
,
clocking schemes
, and
logic circuits
(static and complex).
Solid grasp of
PPA trade-offs
in CMOS design.
Prior
Qcom (Qualcomm) education experience
is
mandatory
.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
Experience in
Cadence
or
Synopsys
design and simulation tools.
Familiarity with
scripting languages
(Perl, TCL, Python) for automation.
Exposure to
circuit simulation and optimization
of standard cells and memory instances.
