Position Summary:

Member of Technical Staff is responsible for delivering and supporting athenahealth's employee collaboration solutions by partnering with business process owners and technology team members. This individual will be part of a multidisciplinary team charged with implementing enterprise business applications for athenahealth.



We are looking for a Member of Technical Staff to join our athenaIT team within our Bangalore R&D division . Your role will be to build products and services for athenaIT, helping us reach our goal of becoming the healthcare backbone by enhancing our cloud-based EHR solution and leveraging the network effect of 85,400+ providers. Apply your technical skills to help doctors spend more time doing what they do best--providing patient care.



Job Responsibilities

Partner with various teams across the company to support athenahealth's business applications by advising on best practices, recommending process improvements, and implementing system enhancements that advance business goals

Develop and maintain technical documentation

Typical Qualifications:

The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to transform business requirements into system improvements that support a growing organization. Key attributes include:

Bachelor's degree in business, Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field

Strong design and problem-solving skills

Experience working with SQL and NoSQL/MongoDB databases

Familiarity with Git

Strong customer service orientation

Creative, flexible, and critical thinking skills

Ability to work independently and in diverse, co-located and remote teams

Strong presentation and communication skills

Ability to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment while producing quality code

Ability to work collaboratively on cross-functional teams with varying experience levels

Ability to prioritize both individual and team time effectively
