You are a tenacious yet nimble learner who demonstrates design and engineering excellence.The Team:Athenahealth Clinicals Accelerators (ONCHT) is a team focused on developing web apps and microservices using Agile, Jira, Bitbucket and much more with tech-stack Perl, Java, React-JS, as it is vital in enhancing the SDLC workflow, developer experience, and the discovery of code relationships both in the monolith and microservice SDLC pipelines. This team is innovative, passionate, and driven by our mission to help make an impact.Responsibilitiesxc2xb7 Produce accurate, unambiguous technical design specifications to the appropriate detailxc2xb7 Deliver customer value in the form of high-quality software components and services in adherence with RPR policies on Security, performance, longevity, and Integration testingxc2xb7 Estimate the size of development tasks in story points with the goal of 80% accuracy; begin to challenge others during estimationxc2xb7 Understand and follow coding conventions, architectures, and best practicesxc2xb7 Write, debug, and deploy code to production; deliver timely fixesxc2xb7 Adhere to DOD (story definition of done) as part of the sprint, including unit tests, functional testing, code reviews, no regressions, bug fixes, documentation and adhere to best coding practicesxc2xb7 Contribute to agile ceremonies to improve team performancexc2xb7 Volunteer for work in the backlog and commit to quality delivery; coordinate efforts across the team to ensure completion and effectivenessxc2xb7 Participate and contribute to scrum meetings i.e., daily stand-up, sprint planning, readouts, and retrospectivesxc2xb7 Advise and train members of the team to maximize overall productivity and effectiveness of the teamxc2xb7 Work collaboratively across the Technology and Product organizations to ensure alignment towards business goalsxc2xb7 Builds strong relationships with cross-functional team membersxc2xb7 Share business and technical learnings with the broader engineering and product organization, while adapting approach for different audiencesEducation, Experience, & Skills Required:xc2xb7 2-4 years of experience in an engineering rolexc2xb7 Experience in an Agile environment preferredxc2xb7 Bachelors Degree or equivalentxc2xb7 Strong software engineering skills and computer science experiencexc2xb7 Experience in development, maintain web services and interfaces and able to contribute to front-end and back-end development processesxc2xb7 Strong Knowledge of programming languages such as: Java, JavaScript/jQuery, and basics of Perlxc2xb7 Familiarity with Unix/Linux, SQL, and various other technologiesxc2xb7 Exposure to object-oriented programming, relational database technologies, RESTful API, and Modern JS frameworks like ReactAbout athenahealthHeres our vision: To create a thriving ecosystem that delivers accessible, high-quality, and sustainable healthcare for all.Whats unique about our locations?
