Key Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day operations of

steel melting shop

(Arc Furnace / Induction Furnace). Supervise

charge mix preparation, melting, tapping, and refining

. Ensure proper operation of

Vacuum Degassing (VD/VOD) process

for removal of gases (H?, N?, O?). Monitor

steel chemistry, temperature, and quality parameters

. Coordinate with

forging & quality teams

to meet production requirements. Ensure

safety standards, ISO & Factory Act compliance

in melting shop. Train and guide operators on best melting practices. Control

yield, energy consumption, and cost optimization

. Maintain production reports, heat logs, and quality records.
Candidate Profile

Degree/Diploma in Metallurgy / Mechanical / Production Engineering. 7-12 years' experience in

steel melting & refining operations

. Strong knowledge of

Vacuum Degassing, secondary refining, and ladle metallurgy

. Exposure to

forging grade steel

production. Leadership and team-handling skills. Hands-on approach with problem-solving ability.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹22,680.97 - ₹94,375.64 per month
