Job Opening - Melting In-Charge / Melting Operator (Arc Furnace)

We are looking for an experienced

Melting In-Charge / Melting Operator

to manage and operate

Arc Furnace operations

in our steel melting shop. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of melting processes, furnace operation, and metallurgical quality control.

Key Responsibilities

Operate and monitor

Arc Furnace

during steel melting operations. Supervise

charge mix preparation, scrap loading, melting, and tapping

. Maintain furnace parameters to achieve

desired steel grades and quality

. Coordinate with the

lab/quality team

for sampling and heat analysis. Implement

safety protocols, energy efficiency, and preventive maintenance

. Manage a team of operators/helpers and ensure smooth production flow. Keep records of

heat cycles, raw material consumption, and production reports

Candidate Requirements

Diploma / ITI / B.Tech in

Metallurgy / Mechanical / Electrical

(preferred).

5-10 years

of experience in

Arc Furnace operations (Induction/ EAF / LRF exposure preferred)

. Hands-on knowledge of

furnace operation, refractory handling, and ladle management

. Strong focus on

safety, productivity, and quality compliance

. Leadership qualities to manage shift operations independently.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹18,178.39 - ₹50,520.66 per month
