Job Overview:

As a Diamond Grader, you will play a crucial role in assessing and evaluating diamonds based on quality parameters. We are looking for an individual with a keen eye for detail, expertise in gemology, and a passion for maintaining the highest standards in diamond grading.

Key Responsibilities:

Diamond Grading:

Assess and grade diamonds according to established quality standards and guidelines of the company for certified and parcel diamonds. Utilize gemological tools and equipment to evaluate various aspects, including cut, color, clarity, and carat weight.

Quality Control:

Ensure adherence to quality control processes and maintain consistency in diamond grading. Collaborate with the quality assurance team to uphold the company's commitment to excellence.

Documentation:

Accurately record and document diamond characteristics, grading results, and related information. Maintain detailed and organized records for reference and reporting purposes.

Communication:

Communicate effectively with team members, providing insights into diamond quality and any deviations from standards. Collaborate with other departments to address specific customer requirements or preferences.

Equipment Maintenance:

Ensure proper maintenance and calibration of gemological tools and equipment.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Gemology or a related field. Proven experience as a Diamond Grader with a minimum of 1-3 years in the diamond industry. In-depth knowledge of Diamond gemological techniques and industry standards. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work with precision. Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team.
