As an E-Commerce Executive Specialist at Meesho, you will be responsible for driving the growth and performance of products on the platform, ensuring they meet the highest standards of visibility, conversion, and customer satisfaction. You will play a key role in optimizing product listings, managing inventory, running marketing campaigns, and tracking performance metrics to support the platform's overall growth objectives. The ideal candidate will be data-driven, detail-oriented, and possess strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Listing & Reconciliation
Maintaining Catalogue and Managing Inventory
Taking care of the entire process from uploading products on the panel to including them in ongoing promotion till generating effective sales.
Involvement in payments and returns-related issues between portals and accounts department
Responsible for making consignments and following up till dispatch.
Maintain good relations with category heads of respective portals and generate business.
Plan various promotions and execute them with the help of the category head
Responsibilities:
Product Listings & Catalog Management:
Create and manage high-quality product listings on Meesho, ensuring all details (titles, descriptions, images, sizes, colors, and prices) are accurate and optimized for customer discovery.
Collaborate with the creative team to ensure product images and descriptions align with platform standards and resonate with the target audience.
Update product content regularly to reflect new arrivals, seasonal promotions, and discount campaigns.
Sales Strategy & Performance Optimization:
Monitor and analyze product performance metrics such as sales volume, conversion rates, and customer engagement to identify areas of improvement.
Work closely with the marketing team to plan and execute campaigns that maximize traffic and drive conversions through promotions, deals, and seasonal events.
Leverage platform tools (e.g., Meesho's Partner Portal or Meesho's Seller Panel) for performance tracking, and implement strategies for better visibility and ranking.
Inventory & Order Management:
Ensure that product inventory is well-maintained, stockouts are minimized, and stock levels are aligned with demand forecasting.
Collaborate with the supply chain and logistics teams to ensure timely product delivery, stock replenishment, and resolve any issues with fulfillment or inventory discrepancies.
Manage returns, exchanges, and cancellations efficiently, working with the customer service team to ensure smooth operations.
Customer Engagement & Experience:
Monitor and manage customer reviews, ratings, and feedback to continuously improve product offerings and resolve customer concerns.
Respond to customer inquiries regarding products, pricing, availability, and delivery in a timely and professional manner.
Take proactive steps to ensure customer satisfaction, including resolving complaints and handling refunds, cancellations, or product quality concerns.
Market Research & Trend Analysis:
Conduct regular market research to track competitor activities, industry trends, and consumer preferences.
Provide insights into pricing, promotion strategies, and seasonal demand to inform product assortment and marketing campaigns.
Stay up to date with platform updates, policies, and the latest e-commerce trends to stay ahead of the competition.
Advertising & Marketing Campaigns:
Collaborate with the marketing team to create and execute promotional campaigns on Meesho's platform, such as flash sales, discount offers, and holiday promotions.
Utilize platform advertising tools (e.g., Meesho's Sponsored Products or Meesho's advertising platform) to boost product visibility and drive targeted traffic.
Measure and track the effectiveness of advertising campaigns and optimize for better ROI.
Reporting & Analytics:
Generate and analyze reports on sales, traffic, conversion rates, and other KPIs to evaluate campaign effectiveness and identify opportunities for optimization.
Use data to create actionable insights, making recommendations for product, pricing, or promotional strategies to leadership.
Ensure accurate tracking and reporting of key metrics, including AOV (Average Order Value), cart abandonment, and customer retention rates.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
1-3 years of experience in e-commerce, retail, or related fields, preferably with experience on
Meesho or other major online platforms.
Strong knowledge of e-commerce platforms, particularly Meesho, or similar online fashion and lifestyle marketplaces.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools; experience with tools like Google Analytics or any other analytics platforms is a plus.
Understanding of digital marketing techniques, including paid advertising, SEO, and promotions on e-commerce platforms.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment with a keen attention to detail.
Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions and identify trends to optimize performance.
