Job Summary:

The MEE Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining the

Multiple Effect Evaporator (MEE)

system to ensure efficient treatment of effluent, recovery of resources, and compliance with environmental standards. The role involves monitoring process parameters, performing routine maintenance, and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues to maintain smooth plant operation.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate and monitor

MEE plant

systems, including evaporators, pumps, condensers, and associated utilities. Record and analyze process parameters (temperature, pressure, flow rate, TDS, pH, etc.) at regular intervals. Ensure

optimum performance

of the evaporation process and maintain desired concentration levels. Perform

routine inspections

and preventive maintenance on MEE equipment. Handle start-up, shutdown, and cleaning (CIP) of MEE systems as per SOPs. Identify and troubleshoot

mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation

faults. Maintain operation logs, daily reports, and chemical consumption records. Coordinate with maintenance, utility, and ETP teams for smooth plant operations. Follow all

safety, health, and environmental

policies and ensure compliance with statutory norms. Assist in calibration, servicing, and overhauling of MEE equipment when required.

Qualifications & Skills:

Education:

ITI / Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering.

Experience:

3-5 years of experience in operating MEE / ETP / ZLD systems in industrial setup (chemical, pharma, textile, etc.).

Technical Skills:

Knowledge of MEE operation and maintenance. Basic understanding of electrical and instrumentation systems. Ability to interpret process flow diagrams (PFDs) and equipment manuals.

Soft Skills:

Attention to detail and strong observation skills. Ability to work independently and in a team. Good communication and reporting ability.

Work Environment:

Industrial plant environment with exposure to heat, noise, and chemicals. Shift-based work (rotational shifts including nights and weekends)
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹28,000.00 per month
