Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Medical Writer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in writing for the healthcare domain, and specific focus on oncology will be a huge plus. This role will involve creating informative content for grant writing, research papers etc.

Key Responsibilities:

Write well-researched content for conferences, including abstracts, papers and presentations materials. Conduct thorough research on current trends, advancements, and key topics in oncology to ensure content accuracy and relevance. Work closely with medical experts and other departments to ensure content aligns with company goals and communicates complex medical information clearly. Review and edit all content to ensure high-quality standards, proper grammar, and accuracy. All content must be written in US English to align with company communication standards.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's/Master's degree in English, Life Sciences, Biology, Research, Statistics, or a related field is required. Doctorate in biosciences or related domain will be a huge plus. Minimum of 2-3 years of professional healthcare/medical writing experience, preferably in oncology. Exceptional command of the English language with the ability to write clearly, concisely, and engagingly, making complex medical content accessible. Strong understanding of medical and healthcare terminology, specifically in oncology. Ability to deliver error-free content with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Candidate must have a strong understanding of US English spelling, grammar and punctuation.

Preferred Skills:

- Familiarity with medical writing style guides and conference presentation formats , familiar with oncology will be advantage.
