Job Description

Role - Medical Writer

MediSage is building an ecosystem by bringing together doctors, hospitals, medical associations,

medical universities, and medical industry (Pharma, Device and Diagnostic) all on one single

platform. The product will evolve to build a deep integrated play amongst healthcare participants.

Medisage is witnessing an exponential user growth, product innovation on the platform and is in

pursuit of global expansion., MediSage is now looking for a Medical Writer to support the next million

user growth.

Location : Mumbai (Powai) - Work from Office

Key Responsibilities



Content Development:

Author and develop high-quality, scientifically accurate medical content for various deliverables, ensuring it is engaging and fit for the target audience.

Scientific Research:

Conduct comprehensive literature reviews of clinical data, peer-reviewed publications, and medical guidelines to support content creation.

Data Interpretation:

Review, interpret, and summarize complex clinical and scientific data to create concise and impactful communications.

Collaboration:

Work closely with cross-functional teams, including medical affairs, design, and editorial, to ensure the timely and successful delivery of projects.

Compliance & Quality:

Ensure all content adheres strictly to client branding, regulatory guidelines, and referencing style requirements (e.g., Vancouver, AMA).

Stay Current:

Keep abreast of the latest scientific literature, clinical trial results, and developments in assigned therapeutic areas.

Core Deliverables You Will Work On


You will gain hands-on experience in developing a variety of promotional and educational materials, including:

e-CME (Continuing Medical Education) slide decks Promotional materials (both digital and print) LBLs (Leave-Behind Literature) Scientific newsletters Clinical case studies Comprehensive literature reviews

Required Qualifications and Experience



Education:

A Master's degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy (M.Pharm), Biotechnology, or a related field. A Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm), Pharm. D and with relevant experience will also be considered.

Experience:

0.5 to 1 year (6-12 months) of demonstrable experience in a medical writing or scientific communications role.

Desired Skills and Competencies



A strong foundational understanding of clinical research methodologies, medical terminology, and key therapeutic concepts. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to convey complex scientific ideas clearly. Proficiency in conducting literature searches on databases like PubMed, Google Scholar, etc. Familiarity with standard referencing styles (e.g., Vancouver, AMA). Impeccable attention to detail and a commitment to scientific accuracy. Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. A proactive and collaborative team player with a strong work ethic.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per year
