Brij Healthcare and Research Centre is a trusted name in advanced medical care, known for our patient-centered approach and state-of-the-art technology. We are expanding our diagnostic services and looking for a Medical Typist to join our dynamic Ultrasonography (USG) Department.Role Overview:
The Medical Typist will be responsible for accurately transcribing and formatting USG reports, ensuring clarity, precision, and timely delivery. This position requires attention to detail, medical terminology proficiency, and the ability to coordinate efficiently with doctors and technicians.Key Responsibilities:Transcribe and format medical dictations from USG specialists into electronic reports.Ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness of medical terminology and patient data.Edit and proofread reports for grammar, punctuation, and standard formatting.Maintain confidentiality and compliance with hospital and data protection policies.Coordinate with doctors, radiologists, and department staff to ensure timely report delivery.Qualifications & Skills:Graduate with experience in medical typing or transcription, preferably in radiology or USG departments.Strong command of medical terminology and typing speed (minimum 40 wpm).Excellent listening and written English skills.Proficiency in MS Office and report formatting tools.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with accuracy and focus.Why Join Us:Opportunity to work with an experienced team in a reputed healthcare centre.Exposure to cutting-edge radiology and diagnostic practices.Supportive and professional work environment.Competitive salary and growth prospects.
