Role Summary
We are seeking a skilled Radiology Medical Transcriptionist to transcribe, edit, and format radiology reports dictated by radiologists and clinicians. The role ensures accurate medical documentation, timely report delivery, and strict confidentiality of patient information in compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
Transcribe radiology dictations into accurate and well-formatted medical reports
Edit and proofread reports for grammar, clarity, and medical accuracy
Ensure correct use of medical terminology related to radiology and imaging
Maintain turnaround time as per department standards
Ensure confidentiality and secure handling of patient records
Coordinate with radiologists for clarifications when required
Follow hospital documentation standards and quality guidelines
Qualifications & Experience
Graduate in any discipline (certification in medical transcription preferred)
1-3 years of experience in radiology or medical transcription
Good knowledge of medical terminology, especially radiology terms
Proficiency in English typing and MS Word
Skills
Medical transcription, attention to detail, medical terminology knowledge, time management, and confidentiality handling.
