Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Medical Transcriptionist to convert audio recordings from healthcare professionals into accurate, written medical documents. The ideal candidate will have strong listening skills, excellent grammar, and a solid understanding of medical terminology to ensure patient records are precise, complete, and compliant with healthcare regulations.

Transcribe dictated medical reports, including histories, physical examinations, operative reports, discharge summaries, and clinic notes Review and edit transcribed documents for accuracy, clarity, grammar, and consistency Ensure correct use of medical terminology, abbreviations, and formatting Proofread documents to maintain high standards of quality and accuracy Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and other healthcare privacy regulations Follow turnaround time requirements and productivity standards Communicate with healthcare providers to clarify unclear dictations when necessary Update and maintain patient records in electronic health record (EHR) systems
Diploma or equivalent (Associate's degree or certification in Medical Transcription preferred)

Minimum 1 year experience as a medical transcriptionist or in a similar role.
