Medical Transcriptionist

Key Responsibilities

Listen to and transcribe

medical dictations

from doctors and healthcare providers. Edit and proofread transcriptions for

accuracy, grammar, format, and completeness

. Interpret medical terminology, abbreviations, and treatments across specialties. Format reports according to hospital or clinic standards. Ensure compliance with

HIPAA/health data privacy standards

(where applicable). Communicate with clinicians for clarification of dictations when necessary. Maintain patient confidentiality and secure storage of documents. Use transcription software and Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems. Meet productivity and quality benchmarks.

Bachelor's Degree with a relevant course

such as Medical Transcription, Life Sciences

Technical Skills:

Strong command of medical terminology, anatomy, and pharmacology. Excellent English language proficiency (written & verbal). Typing speed with high accuracy.

Pay: ?20,000.00 - ?25,000.00 per month
