Job Summary

• Immediate requirement for MT/Sr. MT/Direct Uploaders/Proofers/Sr. Proofers /Editor for Medical Transcription Process (Home-based) for Hyderabad location.

• Experience: 5 to 10 years of experience in Medical Transcription (all specialties).

• Transcribe all dictations and ensure proper grammar, spelling, and sentence structure as well as medical jargon and abbreviations for accuracy.

• Interpret and transcribe the audio dictations into Office Notes, Progress Notes, Operative Reports, Procedure Notes, Letters, Discharge Summaries, and other types of reports.

• Ability to quality check and proofread speech draft. Identify inconsistencies, errors, and missing information within a report that could compromise patient care.

• To review and edit transcriptions done by speech recognition software, and identifying any inconsistencies.

• Adhere to patient confidentiality guidelines as per US Healthcare norms.

• Follow Medical Transcription rules and guidelines as per company norms.

• Compliance to all related processes associated with the job.

• Must be ready to work in a 24/7 environment with majority of time working in evening/night shifts. Must be ready to work with week off(s) other than weekends. Work experience as a medical transcriptionist/editor on a variety of medical specialties and work types. Experience and knowledge of other transcription platforms would be an added advantage.

• Ability to transcribe accurately and maintain a minimum typing speed of 65 words per minute. Good typing skills definitely plays a major role in order to type fast and deliver the work in time. Should be familiar with foot pedals that control the playback speed of the recording while we type.
