Job Description

The Medical Transcription cum Receptionist is responsible for managing front desk operations, handling patient interactions, and accurately transcribing medical reports and dictations. This dual role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain patient confidentiality while supporting the smooth functioning of the medical facility.

Key Responsibilities:Reception & Front Office Duties:



Greet and assist patients and visitors courteously. Handle phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage patient inquiries. Maintain and update patient records and registration details. Coordinate patient flow to ensure minimal waiting times. Collect payments, issue receipts, and maintain billing records. Liaise with doctors, nurses, and other staff for efficient clinic operations. Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence, emails, and documentation.

Medical Transcription Duties:



Listen to and accurately transcribe voice recordings of doctors and other healthcare professionals into written reports, summaries, or correspondence. Edit and proofread transcribed reports for grammar, clarity, consistency, and medical terminology accuracy. Ensure timely delivery of medical documents and reports. Maintain confidentiality and security of patient records in compliance with HIPAA or relevant data protection regulations. Update electronic medical records (EMR) or hospital management systems as required.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
