- Medical Tourism Manager
Position Overview:
We are seeking a knowledgeable and service-driven
Medical Tourism Manager
to lead and manage all medical travel operations for international and domestic patients. The ideal candidate will coordinate with hospitals, doctors, patients, travel partners, and internal teams to create smooth and efficient medical tourism experiences. This role requires strong communication, medical process understanding, and high professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Patient Coordination & Case Handling
Handle enquiries from domestic and international patients seeking medical treatment.
Understand patient needs, medical reports, and treatment requirements.
Coordinate with hospitals/doctors for treatment plans, cost estimates, and appointment scheduling.
Provide end-to-end guidance to patients and their families throughout the process.
2. Hospital & Healthcare Partner Management
Build and maintain relationships with hospitals, clinics, specialists, and diagnostic centers.
Negotiate corporate rates, packages, and service agreements with healthcare providers.
Ensure timely communication between patients and medical partners.
3. Travel & Logistics Management
Coordinate patient travel arrangements including flights, visas, accommodation, transport, and translators.
Ensure smooth airport pick-up/drop and transportation assistance during treatment duration.
Manage stay arrangements for patients, attendants, and follow-up visits.
4. Documentation & Compliance
Assist patients with medical visas, documentation, and necessary approvals.
Maintain patient records, hospital agreements, and treatment documentation.
Ensure all operations follow company and healthcare compliance standards.
5. Marketing & Business Development
Promote medical tourism services through digital marketing, agents, and global partners.
Build collaborations with overseas consultants, facilitators, and local networks.
Identify new markets and develop medical tourism packages for various treatments.
Prepare marketing content, brochures, and awareness materials.
6. Operational Management & Reporting
Prepare weekly/monthly reports on patient enquiries, conversions, and revenue.
Track treatment progress, service quality, and overall patient satisfaction.
Resolve issues and escalations related to hospitals, travel, or accommodation.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor's/Master's degree in Healthcare Management, Tourism, Hospitality, or related field.
3-5 years of experience
in medical tourism, hospital coordination, or healthcare operations.
Strong understanding of medical procedures, hospital operations, and patient handling.
Excellent communication skills (English, Hindi, Bengali; knowledge of foreign languages is a plus).
Good negotiation, coordination, and relationship management skills.
Proficiency in MS Office, CRM tools, and documentation handling.
Ability to work with international patients and handle sensitive situations professionally.
