4-6 Years (Preferred in Medical Tourism / Healthcare Coordination / International Patient Services)
Position Overview
The Medical Tourism Manager (Head) will lead and manage the company's entire medical tourism division, ensuring smooth coordination between international/domestic patients, hospitals, healthcare partners, and internal teams. This role requires strong communication, medical service understanding, patient management skills, and the ability to drive business growth in the medical tourism segment.
Key ResponsibilitiesPatient Handling & Case Management
Oversee end-to-end support for patients seeking medical treatment in India.
Manage queries related to doctors, hospitals, treatments, cost estimates, and appointment scheduling.
Coordinate hospital admissions, diagnostic tests, and medical checkups for patients.
Provide personalized guidance throughout the treatment journey to ensure patient satisfaction.
Hospital & Doctor Coordination
Build and maintain strong relationships with hospitals, healthcare providers, and specialists.
Negotiate treatment packages, service charges, and partnership agreements.
Ensure smooth coordination between patients and healthcare teams.
International Patient Support
Assist foreign patients with visa guidance, travel planning, accommodation, and airport pickup/drop services.
Manage medical documents, reports, case summaries, and treatment approvals.
Ensure compliance with healthcare and immigration guidelines.
Business Development & Growth
Develop strategies to expand the medical tourism division.
Identify new international markets and healthcare partners.
Generate leads through marketing, referrals, agents, and digital platforms.
Convert inquiries into confirmed cases by presenting treatment options effectively.
Team Leadership
Lead and mentor the medical tourism team to deliver high-quality service.
Conduct training on patient care, communication, and workflow management.
Operations & Reporting
Monitor daily operations and ensure timely case updates.
Prepare weekly and monthly performance, revenue, and conversion reports.
Ensure accuracy in documentation, billing, and service coordination.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Healthcare, Hospitality, Management, or related field; MBA preferred.
Minimum 4-6 years of experience in medical tourism, hospital coordination, patient management, or healthcare services.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Understanding of medical terminology, hospital processes, and treatment workflows.
Ability to manage international patients and multicultural communication.
Strong leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
