Job Description

Medical Social worker should be well informed about:

1. Facilities available in the hospital.

2. Events/Medical camps/National programmes & happenings in the hospital.

3. Free & paid services offered by the hospital.

4. Information regarding doctors & their expertise.

5. Condition with & of the patient getting admitted in the hospital.

The MSW should have effective communicative skills, sound knowledge of acts applicable to hospitals and medico-legal issues, good understanding of local language, social & religious beliefs & customs.

Counseling, evaluating patients & determining their needs.

Analyze the requirement & refer the patients to the rehabilitation centre & government shelters depending.

Helping the patients and their families in different matters; eg: patients suffering from medical injustice can seek the aid of this professional.

Maintaining different registers related donors like Master register, camp donor register, credit debit transaction register, voluntary donor card acceptance, sero positive donors register etc.(Technical work).

Calling blood donors at the time of blood shortage.

Arranging blood donation camps at school, college, communities, corporate etc.

Maintaining all records and registers for the purpose of FDA inspection.

Arranging of blood for Thalassemia patients.

Maintaining computerized donors data.

Report writing and documentation of blood donation camps.

To arrange various health check-up camps for senior citizens & follow up with hospitals for their further treatment.

And all others.

Job Types: Full-time, Contractual / Temporary

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
