Looking for position for one of the institutes of Symbiosis International University i.e. Symbiosis University Hospital & Research Centre, Lavale, Pune

Hospital is 900 beds NABH Accredited, Multi-super Specialty State of the art hospital. Associated with Symbiosis Medical College for Women

Position- Medical Social Worker

Requirement of Qualification and experience :

MSW (Master in Social Work) or MPH (Master in Public Health) 2 to 5 years experience in patient services and healthcare. Working in rotational shifts is mandatory.
Responsibilities:

1. Act as the primary point of contact for patients and their families during their

visit/stay

2. Provide information about hospital services, consultant availability, processes, and

procedures

3. Coordinate and support smooth admission, discharge, and referral processes

4. Address patient concerns, grievances, and complaints promptly and empathetically

5. Assist Doctors /Nurses in counselling patients /patients relatives as directed

6. Escalate unresolved issues to the Medical Administrator/HOD ER/ICU.

7. Educate patients and families on billing procedures, departmental workflows, and

relevant hospital policies

8. Collect, document, and analyze patient feedback and prepare reports

9. Maintain MIS/ reports/ data as required and analysis and submit the reports, from time

to time

10. Maintain files/registers/ documents/ records as expected

11. Assist in Camps as required from time to time

12. Conduct regular rounds in OPD, IPD, and waiting areas to check on patient comfort

and satisfaction

13. Collaborate with clinical and non-clinical staff to improve patient experience

14. Coordinate interpreter support or other assistance for patients as required

15. Maintain proper documentation of all patient interactions and interventions

16. Support communication during emergencies , bed availability or service delays

17. Promote a culture of compassion, service excellence, and patient-centered care

18. To carryout any other additional duty and responsibility or reasonable order/

instructions of HOD / Incharge from time to time

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
