Pharma One is seeking a seasoned and results-oriented
Medical Sales Representative
to lead and drive regional sales operations. This is a senior role responsible for accelerating revenue growth, expanding market presence, and building high-performing sales teams within the pharmaceutical domain.
The ideal candidate will possess strong industry expertise, proven leadership capability, and a consistent track record of achieving regional sales targets while upholding regulatory and ethical standards.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute regional sales strategies aligned with organizational revenue objectives
Lead, mentor, and manage Area Sales Managers, Medical Representatives, and field sales teams
Drive prescription generation, strengthen doctor engagement, and expand distributor and channel networks
Monitor regional sales performance, territory coverage, and evolving market trends
Ensure achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets
Build and maintain strong professional relationships with key doctors, hospitals, chemists, and distributors
Ensure strict compliance with pharmaceutical regulations, ethical guidelines, and company policies
Analyze sales data, prepare performance reports, and present actionable insights to senior management
Plan and execute regional promotional activities, product launches, and sales campaigns
Manage regional budgets, incentive plans, and optimal resource utilization
Candidate Profile
Graduate or Postgraduate qualification (MBA in Sales & Marketing preferred)
8-12 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales, including leadership roles such as Regional Sales Manager or Zonal Manager
Strong understanding of pharmaceutical products, prescription behavior, and distribution channels
Proven expertise in team leadership, regional planning, and target-driven sales management
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder relationship skills
Strong analytical and strategic decision-making capabilities
Willingness to travel extensively across the assigned region
