To achieve sales targets for the assigned area by developing and managing customer relationships with doctors, pharmacies, and stockists; ensuring timely order booking, collections, and effective implementation of marketing strategies.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Revenue Generation
Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets for the assigned area.
Ensure growth in prescription generation and product penetration.
Market Coverage
Visit doctors, clinics, hospitals, pharmacies, and distributors as per the approved call plan.
Ensure regular engagement with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and high-potential prescribers.
Brand Promotion
Effectively communicate product information, features, and benefits to doctors and chemists.
Implement marketing campaigns and ensure brand visibility at the retailer and stockist level.
Distributor & Stockist Management
Manage relationships with stockists and ensure adequate inventory levels.
Ensure timely order booking, delivery, and payment collection.
Data Reporting & Analysis
Maintain accurate records of daily calls, sales performance, and competitor activities.
Submit daily call reports (DCR), secondary sales data, and expense statements on time.
Compliance & Ethics
Adhere to all company policies, including medical ethics, code of conduct, and regulatory compliance.
Ensure promotional activities comply with local legal and industry norms.
Team Coordination (if applicable)
Guide and support Medical Representatives in the assigned territory.
Provide on-the-job training and coaching.
Skills & Competencies
Technical Knowledge:
In-depth knowledge of pharma products and therapy areas.
Sales Skills:
Strong persuasion, negotiation, and objection handling.
Communication:
Excellent verbal and interpersonal skills in Tamil and English.
Analytical Ability:
Ability to analyze sales data and market trends.
Time Management:
Efficient in planning and executing field work.
Educational Qualification & Experience
Education:
Graduate in Science/Pharmacy (preferred) or any discipline with pharma sales experience.
Experience:
5-8 years in pharma sales (experience in the Coimbatore region is an advantage).
