Pharma One is looking for a results-driven and strategic
Medical Sales Officer
to spearhead sales operations across the designated region. This senior leadership role focuses on accelerating revenue growth, expanding market share, and building high-performing sales teams within the pharmaceutical sector.
The ideal candidate will bring deep industry expertise, strong people leadership skills, and a proven ability to consistently achieve regional sales targets while maintaining the highest standards of regulatory and ethical compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Design and implement regional sales strategies in line with organizational objectives and revenue goals
Lead, mentor, and manage Area Sales Managers, Medical Representatives, and field sales teams
Drive prescription generation, enhance doctor engagement, and expand distributor and channel networks
Track regional sales performance, territory coverage, and evolving market trends
Ensure achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets
Build and maintain strong relationships with key doctors, hospitals, chemists, and distributors
Ensure adherence to pharmaceutical regulations, ethical practices, and company policies
Analyze sales data, generate performance reports, and present actionable insights to senior leadership
Plan and execute regional promotional initiatives, product launches, and sales campaigns
Oversee regional budgets, incentive structures, and effective resource utilization
Candidate Profile
Graduate or Postgraduate qualification (MBA in Sales & Marketing preferred)
8-12 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales, including leadership roles such as Regional Sales Manager or Zonal Manager
Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical products, prescription practices, and distribution networks
Demonstrated success in team leadership, regional planning, and target-driven sales management
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
Strong analytical mindset with strategic decision-making abilities
Willingness to travel extensively across the assigned region
