About the Role



Pharma One

is looking for a highly driven and strategic

Senior Sales Manager

to lead and scale sales operations across the Coimbatore region. This role requires a seasoned professional with strong leadership capabilities, in-depth pharmaceutical market knowledge, and a proven ability to drive sustainable revenue growth. The incumbent will be responsible for business expansion, team performance, key account management, and market leadership.

Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Sales & Revenue Leadership



Develop, execute, and monitor regional sales strategies aligned with company growth objectives. Drive achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets. Identify and capitalize on high-potential markets, products, and customer segments. Strengthen market penetration and brand positioning across the assigned territory.

Team Leadership & Performance Management



Lead, mentor, and manage the regional sales team to ensure high performance and accountability. Set clear KPIs, conduct regular performance reviews, and implement corrective action plans when required. Plan and deliver ongoing training, coaching, and development programs for the sales team. Foster a results-oriented and ethical sales culture.

Key Account & Relationship Management



Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts including hospitals, pharmacies, clinics, distributors, and institutional clients. Oversee negotiations, pricing discussions, and long-term commercial agreements. Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention through proactive engagement.

Market Intelligence & Business Planning



Analyze market trends, competitor strategies, and customer insights to drive informed decision-making. Prepare sales forecasts, MIS reports, and performance dashboards for management review. Provide strategic recommendations to improve sales effectiveness and operational efficiency.

Cross-functional Collaboration



Work closely with marketing, supply chain, finance, and operations teams to ensure seamless execution. Ensure timely order fulfillment, stock availability, and issue resolution.

Requirements



5+ years of experience in pharmaceutical sales, with proven exposure to senior or managerial roles. Strong understanding of pharma products, distribution channels, and regional market dynamics. Demonstrated success in leading teams and achieving aggressive sales targets. Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and analytical skills. Willingness to travel extensively within the region
