Job Title: Business Development Executive - Healthcare (MR Experience Mandatory)

Job Summary:

We are looking for a proactive and results-driven Business Development Executive with prior experience as a Medical Representative (MR) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of pharmaceutical or hospital-based services, established doctor connections, and a proven track record of driving referrals and business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Build and maintain strong relationships with doctors, clinics, diagnostic centers, and hospitals to generate consistent patient referrals.

Leverage prior MR experience to penetrate networks and promote our healthcare services effectively.

Plan and execute field visits, CMEs, medical camps, and outreach initiatives to improve visibility and engagement.

Promote key specialties such as diagnostics, laser surgeries, varicose vein treatments, wellness, and more.

Work closely with internal teams (operations, marketing, clinical) to coordinate patient handling and service alignment.

Achieve monthly and quarterly targets for OP-to-IP conversions, referrals, and outreach effectiveness.

Maintain detailed records of visits, referrals, and outcomes using CRM tools or internal software.

Stay updated with competitor activities and market trends in healthcare services.

Represent the hospital at community programs, corporate tie-ups, and healthcare events.

Key Requirements:

Mandatory prior experience as a Medical Representative (minimum 1-2 years) in pharma or healthcare service promotion.

Strong doctor network and local market knowledge.

Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.

Goal-oriented with a sales-driven mindset.

Willingness to travel locally and conduct fieldwork.

Basic knowledge of MS Office and CRM platforms.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Science, Pharmacy, Business Administration, or related field.

Minimum 1-3 years of total experience in business development or pharma marketing (MR).

Fluency in English and the local language is required.
