Hiring Policy for Key Area Managers (KAMs)
Objective
To recruit highly qualified and capable individuals for the role of Key Area Manager (KAM), ensuring alignment with the company's goals in the Cardio & Diabetes therapy segmentPolicy Guidelines
1. Recruitment Criteria
Educational Background:
Candidates must possess a relevant degree (e.g., B.Sc., B.Pharma, D.Pharma, MBA in Pharmaceutical Management) or equivalent qualification in life sciences or healthcare.
Work Experience:
oPrior experience in sales and marketing within the Cardio & Diabetes therapy segments is mandatory. (Preferably from top 20).
oProven track record in achieving sales targets and maintaining strong relationships with doctors.
Age Limit:
Applicants must be under 28 years to ensure adaptability and long-term growth potential.
Geographical Knowledge:
Candidates must have in-depth knowledge of their assigned territory to facilitate effective market penetration and relationship management with KOLs
2. Desired Competencies
Therapy Area Expertise:
Comprehensive understanding of Cardio & Diabetes treatment protocols and relevant products (Patho physiology & Diabetes brands).
Networking and Relationship Skills:
Established connections with KOLs in the assigned territory and the ability to leverage these relationships effectively.
Personality and Representation:
Professional demeanor, presentable appearance, and strong interpersonal skills.
Performance Metrics:
Data-driven approach, problem-solving skills, and a consistent track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
3. Compensation Structure
Annual Budget per Candidate: 3 to 4 Lakhs per annum. (with gradual increase from base).
