A Medical Representative is responsible for promoting and selling pharmaceutical products to doctors, healthcare professionals, hospitals, and pharmacies. The role includes product detailing, territory management, meeting sales targets, and building strong customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
Promote and market pharmaceutical products to doctors, pharmacists, and healthcare providers.
Conduct product presentations and explain features, benefits, and usage.
Visit clinics, hospitals, pharmacies, and other healthcare establishments as per daily schedule.
Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Build and maintain strong relationships with doctors and medical staff.
Ensure proper product availability at chemists and distributors.
Collect and report market feedback, competitor activities, and customer insights.
Prepare daily call reports, sales reports, and maintain data records.
Coordinate with the sales team, distributors, and management for smooth operations.
Requirements:
Minimum qualification: Graduate (B.Sc / B.Pharm preferred).
Good communication and presentation skills.
Strong persuasive and negotiation abilities.
Ability to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
Basic computer knowledge (MS Office, reporting tools).
Self-motivated, confident, and target-oriented.
