Role Summary
The Medical Representative (MR) is responsible for promoting molecular diagnostic tests and therapeutic services to healthcare professionals within the Lashkar-Gwalior region. The role involves territory management, product promotion, generating prescriptions/referrals, and building long-term relationships with doctors, pathologists, hospitals, and clinics.
Key Responsibilities1. Sales & Promotion
Promote the company's molecular diagnostic test portfolio to physicians, specialists, hospitals, and diagnostic centers.
Conduct product detailing and communicate scientific information effectively.
Plan and execute daily doctor visits as per the coverage plan.
Achieve monthly sales, revenue, and referral targets.
2. Territory Management
Manage and expand business in Lashkar, Gwalior, and adjacent assigned areas.
Identify new business opportunities and onboard new prescribers/referring centers.
Maintain a strong database of doctors, hospitals, and labs within the territory.
3. Marketing & Activity Execution
Organize CME programs, workshops, and presentations for healthcare professionals.
Coordinate with marketing teams for promotional material distribution.
Ensure brand visibility in clinics, hospitals, and diagnostic facilities.
4. Reporting & Documentation
Submit daily call reports, sales data, and field activity updates.
Track competitor activity and share market insights with management.
Maintain accurate records of doctor interactions and test referrals.
5. Customer Relationship Management
Build trust-based, long-term relations with clinicians and healthcare staff.
Provide necessary support for sample pickup coordination when required.
Handle queries from doctors regarding tests, reports, pricing, and turnaround time.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education:
B.Pharm with a passion for healthcare sales.
Experience:
0-3 years in pharma/diagnostics/healthcare sales (freshers may apply).
Skills:
Strong communication & presentation skills
Basic medical/diagnostic knowledge
Territory knowledge of Gwalior/Lashkar preferred
Good negotiation & relationship-building ability
Self-motivation and willingness to travel locally
