Role Overview

We are looking for a motivated and dynamic Medical Representative to promote and sell our pharmaceutical products to healthcare professionals within the assigned territory. The role involves building strong relationships with doctors, pharmacists, and other healthcare providers while achieving sales targets, gathering market intelligence, and ensuring product visibility.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Promotion

Meet or exceed assigned sales targets for product lines. Make regular visits to healthcare professionals (doctors, pharmacists, nurses) to present and promote products, explain their benefits, dosage, and usage. Organize product presentations, medical workshops, or seminars for healthcare providers. Provide product samples, catalogs, and scientific literature to doctors and pharmacists.

Relationship Building

Develop and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), clinicians, and other healthcare professionals. Act as the face of the company in the market, representing the brand professionally in all engagements.

Market Intelligence

Monitor competitor products, pricing, and promotional strategies. Analyse territory market dynamics, prescription patterns, and customer feedback; report insights to sales/marketing management. Provide feedback from the field to help shape product strategy.

Territory & Visit Management

Plan and execute daily/weekly visit schedules (tour plan) for healthcare professionals. Ensure product availability at stockists, pharmacies, and medical institutions. Maintain accurate records of calls, customer interactions, and sales using CRM or internal tools.

Compliance & Reporting

Adhere to all industry regulations, ethical standards, and company policies. Prepare and submit regular reports (daily/weekly/monthly) on sales, market feedback, and competitor activity. Participate in training programs / workshops to stay updated on products, clinical data, and industry trends.
