To manage, maintain, and safeguard patient medical records in line with ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and timely availability of records to support patient care and hospital operations.
Key Responsibilities
Sort, file, retrieve, and maintain patient medical records accurately as per hospital standards.
Check records for completeness and follow up on deficiencies.
Provide authorised information (e.g., history numbers, admission/discharge dates).
Maintain census lists, dismissal registers, and patient history master files.
Verify, correct, and update patient records, merging duplicates where necessary.
Ensure compliance with hospital policies, confidentiality, and health & safety regulations.
Support hospital accreditation and quality initiatives.
Participate in staff training, development, and performance reviews.
Maintain flexibility with work shifts and assigned areas.

Qualifications & Experience
Graduate in Health Information Management / Medical Records / Healthcare Administration (preferred).
Prior experience in medical records or hospital administration is an advantage.
Familiarity with electronic medical records systems and filing protocols.
