Job Description

A medical representative promotes and sells a pharmaceutical company's products, including medicines and medical devices, to healthcare professionals like doctors, nurses, and pharmacists. They act as a liaison between the company and healthcare providers, building relationships, educating them on products, and ultimately driving prescriptions and sales. Key Responsibilities:

Product Promotion:

Presenting information about medications, explaining their benefits, and providing supporting scientific data to healthcare professionals.

Relationship Building:

Establishing and maintaining strong professional relationships with doctors, pharmacists, and other healthcare providers.

Sales Target Achievement:

Meeting or exceeding sales targets within their assigned territory.

Market Intelligence:

Gathering feedback on market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to inform sales strategies.

Product Knowledge:

Developing and maintaining a deep understanding of the company's products and relevant medical information.

Compliance:

Adhering to ethical and regulatory standards in all interactions with healthcare professionals.

Reporting:

Preparing and submitting reports on sales activities, customer interactions, and market trends.

Meetings and Presentations:

Organizing and conducting meetings, presentations, and product demonstrations for healthcare professionals.

Staying Updated:

Keeping abreast of the latest medical advancements and competitor activities.

New Business Development:

Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within their territory.
