We are looking for a reliable and organized Medical Receptionist to manage front-desk operations at our healthcare facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for patient coordination, appointment scheduling, record management, and smooth communication between patients and medical staff. Accuracy, professionalism, and confidentiality are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet patients and visitors courteously and verify appointments
Schedule, confirm, reschedule, and cancel patient appointments
Handle incoming calls, inquiries, and follow-ups efficiently
Register patients and maintain accurate medical records (EHR/EMR)
Collect payments, issue receipts, and coordinate with billing staff
Manage patient flow to minimize waiting time
Coordinate with doctors, nurses, labs, and administrative staff
Maintain confidentiality of patient information at all times
Handle basic patient concerns and escalate issues when required
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent (mandatory)
Previous experience as a medical receptionist or front-desk executive preferred
Basic knowledge of medical terminology and clinic procedures
Proficiency in computer systems, scheduling software, and MS Office
Strong communication and multitasking skills
Professional attitude, punctuality, and attention to detail
