Greet patients, visitors, and attendants in a warm and professional manner.
Register new patients and update existing patient details accurately in the hospital system.
Schedule and manage doctor appointments and consultation slots.
Answer telephone calls, provide information, and transfer calls to respective departments.
Collect consultation fees and generate bills or receipts as per hospital policy.
Coordinate with nursing staff, doctors, and diagnostic departments for smooth patient flow.
Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area.
Handle patient queries, feedback, and escalate issues when necessary.
Maintain confidentiality of patient records and hospital information at all times.
Assist in administrative tasks assigned by the Front Office Manager or Hospital Administrator.
Qualifications & Skills:
Minimum qualification: PUC / Diploma / Graduate (any stream).
1-3 years of experience as a receptionist, preferably in a hospital or clinic.
Good communication skills in English and local language (Kannada, Hindi, etc.).
Pleasant personality and professional appearance.
Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with hospital management software.
Ability to multitask and remain calm in a busy environment.
