Job Overview
Medico Hub is seeking a Junior Medical Oncologist Consultant for a full-time position in Mangaluru. This role requires 1 to 3 years of experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing oncology care and undertaking various related duties as part of a multidisciplinary team. The position is focused on both clinical and consultative services within our esteemed network.
Qualifications and Skills

  • Proficiency in oncology protocols (Mandatory skill).
  • Experience in chemotherapy administration with a strong understanding of its nuances and complexities.
  • Ability to perform immunotherapy, showcasing an adaptive approach to modern treatment techniques.
  • Strong medical documentation skills ensuring meticulous recording of patient interactions and treatment plans.
  • Active participation in tumor board meetings, contributing insights and making collective decisions.
  • Ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive patient care.
  • Expertise in treatment planning, aligning patient needs with current clinical guidelines and best practices.
  • Excellent patient counseling skills to guide patients and families through treatment processes and decisions.
Roles and Responsibilities
  • Provide specialized oncology care including diagnosis, treatment, and management of cancer patients.
  • Administer chemotherapy and monitor patient responses, adjusting treatments as necessary.
  • Collaborate with other specialists in planning and executing comprehensive patient treatment plans.
  • Participate in regular tumor board meetings, offering expertise and clinical insights.
  • Engage in clinical research and participate in continuous education to stay current with oncological advancements.
  • Ensure accurate and thorough documentation in patient records and medical files.
  • Counsel patients and families, providing clear communication regarding diagnostics, treatment options, and expectations.
  • Contribute to developing and updating treatment protocols in line with the latest medical standards and research findings.
