3. Medical Oncologist
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Medical Oncologist to join our multidisciplinary healthcare team. The ideal candidate will specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of cancer, delivering patient-centered care through chemotherapy, targeted therapy, and immunotherapy. The role involves close collaboration with surgeons, radiation oncologists, and palliative care providers to ensure the best outcomes for patients.
Qualifications:
? Medical degree (MBBS, MD/DM/DNB) from an accredited institution.
? Completion of a residency in Internal Medicine and a fellowship in Medical Oncology.
? Board certification in Medical Oncology.
? Valid medical license to practice in [Insert State/Region].
? Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills.
? Excellent communication and compassionate patient care abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
? Evaluate and diagnose patients with various forms of cancer.
? Develop individualized treatment plans using chemotherapy, immunotherapy, hormonal therapy, or targeted therapy.
? Monitor patient response to treatment and adjust protocols as needed.
? Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including surgeons, radiation oncologists, pathologists, and palliative care providers.
? Educate patients and families on diagnosis, treatment options, side effects, and prognosis.
? Manage side effects and complications related to cancer therapies.
? Participate in tumor board meetings and contribute to case discussions.
? Maintain accurate, up-to-date documentation and use EHR systems effectively.
? Stay informed on the latest research, clinical trials, and oncology treatment advancements.
Preferred Skills:
? Experience managing both solid and hematologic malignancies.
? Exposure to hematology or bone marrow transplant is an added advantage.
? Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
? Clinical research or academic background is a plus.
? Bilingual abilities are a plus.
