Diagnose and manage a wide range of solid and hematologic malignancies through clinical evaluation, imaging, and laboratory analysis.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including systemic therapies such as chemotherapy, targeted therapy, and immunotherapy.
Administer chemotherapy and targeted therapies safely and accurately, adhering to institutional protocols and safety standards.
Monitor patient response to treatment, manage side effects, and adjust therapeutic strategies as needed.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including radiologists, surgeons, pathologists, and palliative care specialists to ensure holistic patient care.
Maintain detailed, accurate, and timely medical records in compliance with regulatory and institutional standards.
Provide clear, empathetic communication to patients and families regarding diagnosis, treatment options, prognosis, and follow-up care.
Participate in clinical research, quality improvement initiatives, and continuing medical education to stay current with advances in oncology.
Support patient education and counseling, promoting adherence to treatment and enhancing overall well-being.
Requirements:
MBBS with postgraduate qualification in Oncology (MD/DM in Medical Oncology) or equivalent recognized degree.
Proficiency in medical oncology, including diagnosis and treatment of various tumors across adult and pediatric populations.
Demonstrated experience in administering chemotherapy and targeted therapies in a clinical setting.
Strong clinical judgment, attention to detail, and ability to manage complex patient cases under pressure.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and rapport with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
Commitment to ethical practice, patient safety, and continuous professional development.
Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and oncology-specific treatment protocols.
Valid medical license and registration with the Medical Council of India (or equivalent).
