Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and manage a wide range of solid and hematologic malignancies through clinical evaluation, imaging, and laboratory analysis.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including systemic therapies such as chemotherapy, targeted therapy, and immunotherapy.
  • Administer chemotherapy and targeted therapies safely and accurately, adhering to institutional protocols and safety standards.
  • Monitor patient response to treatment, manage side effects, and adjust therapeutic strategies as needed.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including radiologists, surgeons, pathologists, and palliative care specialists to ensure holistic patient care.
  • Maintain detailed, accurate, and timely medical records in compliance with regulatory and institutional standards.
  • Provide clear, empathetic communication to patients and families regarding diagnosis, treatment options, prognosis, and follow-up care.
  • Participate in clinical research, quality improvement initiatives, and continuing medical education to stay current with advances in oncology.
  • Support patient education and counseling, promoting adherence to treatment and enhancing overall well-being.
Requirements:
  • MBBS with postgraduate qualification in Oncology (MD/DM in Medical Oncology) or equivalent recognized degree.
  • Proficiency in medical oncology, including diagnosis and treatment of various tumors across adult and pediatric populations.
  • Demonstrated experience in administering chemotherapy and targeted therapies in a clinical setting.
  • Strong clinical judgment, attention to detail, and ability to manage complex patient cases under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and rapport with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Commitment to ethical practice, patient safety, and continuous professional development.
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and oncology-specific treatment protocols.
  • Valid medical license and registration with the Medical Council of India (or equivalent).
  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented hospital environment with rotating shifts and on-call responsibilities.
