Medical Officer (Full Time)

Teaching Role:

Visiting Faculty - Allied Health Sciences (Lecture Basis)

Indus Hospital (Partner Hospital) + Saraswati Group of Colleges (SGC)

Working Hours:

6-Hour Hospital Shift (Schedule aligned with teaching load)

Compensation:

Medical Officer Salary:

?45,000/- per month(for Fresher MBBS) ?50,000/- to ?60,000/- per month(for candidates with 1+ years of experience as Medical Officer)

Teaching Honorarium:

?700 - ?900 per lecture (Depending on subject & experience)

Role Overview

The Medical Officer shall serve full-time at

Indus Hospital

in clinical duties and will additionally deliver lectures to undergraduate students of Allied Health & Nursing programs at

SGC

on a scheduled basis. The lecture timings will be structured such that there is

no overlap

with hospital duty and the daily schedule remains smooth and manageable.

Key Responsibilities1. Clinical Responsibilities (Indus Hospital)

Provide routine outpatient and inpatient medical care under supervision of senior consultants. Conduct patient clinical assessments, documentation, and case history maintenance. Coordinate diagnostic tests and evaluate medical reports for appropriate treatment plans. Assist in ward rounds, emergency duties, and on-call support when scheduled. Ensure adherence to patient safety standards, hospital SOPs and clinical protocols. Maintain patient confidentiality and ethical medical practices at all times.

2. Academic & Teaching Responsibilities (SGC)

Deliver classroom lectures to Allied Health / Nursing / Paramedical students as per the teaching schedule. Prepare lesson plans, presentations, and assessment components relevant to academic curriculum. Conduct practical demonstrations / case-based discussions where applicable. Maintain student attendance, evaluation records, and internal assessment documentation. Participate in academic meetings, exam duties, and student mentoring when assigned.

Work Schedule & Coordination

Hospital shift and lecture schedules will be coordinated jointly by

Hospital Administration & Academic Coordinator

to ensure: No overlap between clinical duties and teaching hours. Maximum schedule convenience and productive work efficiency. The candidate must maintain punctuality and ensure availability for both roles as allocated.

Qualifications & Requirements

MBBS

degree from a recognized university. Valid registration with

State Medical Council / MCI / NMC

. Strong clinical reasoning and patient management skills. Interest and aptitude for academic teaching. Good communication and professional attitude.
