Job Description

Shall involve in comprehensive patient care at Wards for all specialties. Shall assist to initiate the admission process for cases that come through ER and follow up on the same. Shall assist to deal with medico legal cases and will be responsible to document all MLC cases. Advisable to take written statement of patients / companions about the event preceding & after in a white paper with witness signature. Shall cover rounds as advised. Will be responsible for attending to patients on call for all Wards. Shall assist to enter observations in progress notes and inform the consultant about the status of the patient routinely and in case of a sick patient SOS basis. Shall keep a continuous track on investigation reports and inform the Consultants. Shall assist for pre-operative/procedures counseling and take consents. Shall meet and counsel the family members about the patients health condition. Shall be prepared to accompany patients as advised who are on ventilator during transfers in ambulance. Shall assist and take necessary action during Code Blue, Code Yellow and Code Red as part of the medical team; will maintain Code Blue running sheet wherever necessary. Shall be responsible for patient care during the night as and when assigned. Shall be ready to participate in Promotional Camps and Outreach Clinics. Shall always be willing to participate in welfare activities of the hospital. Need to perform routine Clinical Administrative tasks. Shall assist to document all clinical aspect of the patient in Trakcare including Initial assessment, progress notes, Discharge summary etc. Need to do the order entry of the investigations that has been advised by the consultant. Shall assist and indent medicine of patients in Trakcare, counter check the Medication sheet if any of the patient. Shall continuously coordinate and inform the on call doctor under whom the patient is being admitted about the patients initial assessment. Shall always carry the department mobile during duty hours and will respond to call during off duty. Shall not leave the hospital without proper handover to his team mates/relievers. Shall continuously follow all rules and protocols of the hospital and maintain the quality standards. Shall always take part in scheduled Induction classes, CMEs, Drills.

Required Candidate Profile



Should possess MBBS Degree recognized by Medical Council of India. Will be responsible for the health and well being of patients at Wards. Minimum of 1 year and relevant experience in Casualty / Emergency / Wards / Clinics / Health Care Centre preferred. Six days working.
