Conduct thorough clinical assessments and physical examinations to evaluate patient health status and identify medical concerns.
Diagnose and manage common medical conditions, including but not limited to respiratory infections, hypertension, diabetes, gastrointestinal disorders, and acute injuries.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with clinical guidelines and hospital protocols.
Perform basic medical procedures such as wound dressing, suturing, venipuncture, catheterization, and minor surgical interventions under supervision.
Maintain accurate, up-to-date, and confidential patient records using electronic health record (EHR) systems.
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to provide clear explanations of diagnoses, treatment options, and follow-up care.
Collaborate with nurses, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and holistic patient care.
Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and escalate complex cases to senior medical staff when required.
Participate in on-call duties and emergency response as per hospital rotation schedules.
Stay current with medical advancements, guidelines, and best practices through continuous professional development and hospital training programs.
Requirements:
MBBS degree from a recognized medical institution with valid registration with the Medical Council of India (or equivalent).
Minimum of 2 years of post-graduation clinical experience in a hospital or primary care setting.
Proven ability in diagnosing and managing common medical conditions across diverse patient populations.
Skilled in conducting comprehensive clinical assessments and interpreting diagnostic results.
Hands-on experience in performing basic medical procedures with a focus on patient safety and procedural accuracy.
Strong knowledge of hospital protocols, infection control standards, and patient confidentiality (HIPAA/GDPR-compliant practices).
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and time-management skills with the ability to work under pressure in fast-paced environments.
Proficiency in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems and basic medical software.
Willingness to participate in on-call rotations and shift work as required.
