Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough clinical assessments and physical examinations to evaluate patient health status and identify medical concerns.
  • Diagnose and manage common medical conditions, including but not limited to respiratory infections, hypertension, diabetes, gastrointestinal disorders, and acute injuries.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with clinical guidelines and hospital protocols.
  • Perform basic medical procedures such as wound dressing, suturing, venipuncture, catheterization, and minor surgical interventions under supervision.
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date, and confidential patient records using electronic health record (EHR) systems.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to provide clear explanations of diagnoses, treatment options, and follow-up care.
  • Collaborate with nurses, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and holistic patient care.
  • Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and escalate complex cases to senior medical staff when required.
  • Participate in on-call duties and emergency response as per hospital rotation schedules.
  • Stay current with medical advancements, guidelines, and best practices through continuous professional development and hospital training programs.
Requirements:
  • MBBS degree from a recognized medical institution with valid registration with the Medical Council of India (or equivalent).
  • Minimum of 2 years of post-graduation clinical experience in a hospital or primary care setting.
  • Proven ability in diagnosing and managing common medical conditions across diverse patient populations.
  • Skilled in conducting comprehensive clinical assessments and interpreting diagnostic results.
  • Hands-on experience in performing basic medical procedures with a focus on patient safety and procedural accuracy.
  • Strong knowledge of hospital protocols, infection control standards, and patient confidentiality (HIPAA/GDPR-compliant practices).
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and time-management skills with the ability to work under pressure in fast-paced environments.
  • Proficiency in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems and basic medical software.
  • Willingness to participate in on-call rotations and shift work as required.
