Role Summary:

The Medical Officer - Acupuncture will be responsible for providing acupuncture-based therapies in accordance with established clinical protocols and individualized patient needs. The role requires in-depth knowledge of acupuncture techniques, patient assessment, treatment planning, and collaborative wellness care.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct detailed consultations and assessments of patients to determine suitable acupuncture treatment plans. Administer acupuncture therapy in line with clinical standards, safety protocols, and patient comfort. Maintain comprehensive patient records and progress reports. Collaborate with naturopathy, yoga, and other wellness departments to ensure integrated treatment planning. Educate patients on acupuncture principles, benefits, and treatment expectations. Monitor patient outcomes, modify treatment plans as needed, and ensure overall satisfaction. Participate in wellness workshops, staff meetings, and continued learning programs. Ensure hygiene, safety, and sterilization protocols are consistently followed in the treatment areas.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Acupuncture / Acupuncture & Moxibustion / Traditional Medicine or equivalent (recognized by government/recognized council). Valid license/registration (if applicable) to practice acupuncture in India. Strong clinical knowledge with practical experience in therapeutic acupuncture. Excellent patient communication and interpersonal skills. Compassionate approach and commitment to holistic healing. Ability to work in a team-oriented environment with multi-disciplinary wellness professionals.

Preferred Attributes:

Experience in a wellness retreat, alternative medicine hospital, or integrative medical setting. Additional knowledge in traditional Chinese medicine, cupping, moxibustion, or auricular acupuncture. Fluent in English and Hindi for patient interaction.
