Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and skilled

Medical Laboratory Technician

(Senior or Mid-Senior Level) to join our team at Apollo Clinic Zoo Road. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in laboratory testing, sample handling, quality control, and reporting, with a minimum of

5 years of relevant experience

in a clinical or diagnostic lab environment.

Key Responsibilities

Perform routine and specialized laboratory investigations in areas such as: Hematology Biochemistry Microbiology Immunology / Serology Clinical Pathology Collect, label, process, and store patient samples accurately. Operate and maintain laboratory instruments and analyzers efficiently. Ensure compliance with laboratory safety, hygiene, and infection control protocols. Conduct internal quality control procedures and assist in external quality assurance programs. Maintain proper documentation, test records, and laboratory reports. Support pathologists and senior lab staff in advanced diagnostic procedures. Troubleshoot technical issues with equipment and coordinate for timely repairs. Train and guide junior technicians and support staff when required. Ensure timely and accurate reporting of test results.

Required Qualifications

Degree/Diploma in:

BMLT (Bachelor in Medical Laboratory Technology)

OR

DMLT (Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology)

Minimum

5+ years of experience

working in a diagnostic or hospital laboratory.
