Job Description

Clinical & Technical Duties:



Specimen Collection:

Perform proficient venipuncture (blood draws) and capillary punctures on adult and pediatric patients while adhering to safety and infection control standards.

Sample Processing & Storage:

Receive, label, centrifuge, aliquot, and prepare specimens for analysis or transport to reference labs according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Ensure appropriate storage temperatures for various sample types.

Lab Maintenance:

Ensure the laboratory work area and phlebotomy stations are clean, sanitized, and properly stocked for the next shift.

Administrative & Front Desk Duties:



Report Management:

Monitor the status of pending tests. Print, collate, and organize completed diagnostic reports.

Patient Communication:

Proactively call patients to inform them when their reports are ready for collection and handle incoming inquiries regarding operating hours or basic services. (Note: Technicians do not interpret results for patients).

Desk Operations:

Maintain an organized front desk area. Greet evening patients, verify patient demographics, and ensure test requisitions are complete.

Accounts & Billing:

Handle basic evening financial transactions. This includes collecting co-pays or service fees, issuing receipts, managing the cash drawer, and reconciling daily evening accounts before closing.

Pay: ₹8,086.00 - ₹26,186.70 per month
