Laboratory Technician

Laboratory In-Charge / Scientist / Medical Officer

Key Responsibilities

Collect, label, and prepare samples (blood, urine, tissue, chemicals, etc.) for analysis. Conduct routine laboratory tests and procedures accurately. Operate and calibrate laboratory instruments and equipment. Maintain proper documentation of test results and observations. Ensure proper storage and disposal of chemicals, samples, and biohazard waste. Prepare chemical solutions and reagents as per standard protocols. Maintain inventory of laboratory supplies and place orders as needed. Follow laboratory safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment. Assist senior researchers, pathologists, or lab supervisors with specialized tests. Ensure confidentiality and accuracy in reporting data and results.

Skills & Qualifications

Diploma / B.Sc. in Medical Laboratory Technology or related field. Experience in laboratory testing and sample handling (preferred). Knowledge of laboratory equipment, techniques, and safety procedures. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions. Good communication and reporting skills. Computer literacy for data entry and result documentation
