We are seeking a Medical Insurance Coordinator to manage hospital insurance processes including cashless approvals, claims submission, insurer coordination, and timely reimbursement in compliance with hospital policies and NABH standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate cashless and reimbursement insurance cases
Process pre-authorizations and track insurer approvals
Verify insurance eligibility, coverage, and documentation
Submit and follow up on insurance claims with TPAs/insurers
Handle claim queries, denials, and resubmissions
Coordinate with clinical and billing teams for required documents
Maintain insurance records, trackers, and MIS reports
Guide patients on insurance procedures and financial responsibilities
Eligibility & Skills:
Graduate in any discipline (Healthcare/Commerce preferred)
1-3 years of hospital insurance coordination experience
Hands-on knowledge of TPAs, health insurance policies, and claim workflows
Familiarity with cashless and reimbursement processes
Good communication and documentation skills
Proficiency in HIS and MS Office
Preferred:
Experience in NABH-accredited hospitals
Exposure to corporate and PSU insurance cases
Salary:
As per experience and interview performance.
