The Position

As a Medical Information Manager - will assist closely in providing strategic and medical guidance covering a portfolio of products. All activities are to be executed and considered on a global scale, resulting in high impact on Regions & Affiliates. He/She will execute the below deliverables demonstrating Subject Matter Expert status:

  • Generation, Interpretation, and communication of scientific data to ensure proper usage of NN products.
  • Creation, maintenance, and updating of a comprehensive library of medical information (MI) responses of Novo Nordisk products to healthcare professionals, institutions, and/or payers for the UK affiliate.
  • Create and evaluate scientifically accurate and evidence-based content for medical information Q&As, while adhering to topic and key messages, linguistic accuracy, and regulatory compliance.
  • Providing medical expertise in line with the ABPI (Association of the British Pharmaceutical Industry) code for promotional pieces for the UK affiliate.
  • Clinical importance of new findings and impact in future and current therapy areas.
  • Deliver timely accurate and credible scientific medical guidance across medical affairs focus areas toward internal and external stakeholders.
Role requirements:
  • M.D. or Ph.D. or MSc or PharmD or BDS/MDS with substantial clinical and/or research expertise in a relevant area (e.g. Endocrinology, Cardiology, General Practice, or Internal Medicine).
  • At least 6 months to 1+ years of experience in Medical Information in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Understanding and application of good practices in medical enquiry management and writing for medical information.
  • Good cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management
  • Experience with clinical medicine, clinical research and development.
  • Understanding of the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Fluency in both spoken and written English.
  • Demonstrated research experience (e.g. publications).
  • Additional education and experience in business administration/marketing.
About the department

Global Medical Affairs, GBS is an extension of the Global Medical Affairs, headquartered in Denmark (HQ), and is part of Global Business Services (GBS), Bangalore, India. The team consists of highly motivated global medical advisors, global scientific advisors (medical writers), project managers, graphic designers and publication managers working together with the Global Medical Affairs department in S\xc3\xb8borg, Denmark, the regional CMR departments, and the Medical Affairs department in the US affiliate of the company. Our core competencies include communicating scientific and medical knowledge on our products to the external scientific community and across the organisation, in-house content development, project management and publication planning for external medical events.
