Summary of Position

The

Hub Head / Regional Manager

will be responsible for driving sales and business development of infection control solutions and medical equipment/devices across the assigned region. This role requires strong expertise in

KOL and influencer engagement, government sales, and tender/GeM bid management

, along with proven experience in the medical equipment/device industry. The incumbent will coordinate with internal teams and local partners to ensure smooth execution of business strategies, revenue growth, and market expansion.

Key Responsibilities

Drive sales and business development for infection control solutions and medical equipment/devices within the assigned geography. Build and strengthen relationships with KOLs and influencers across the healthcare ecosystem. Lead and coordinate with internal teams, local partners (LPs), and external stakeholders for seamless sales execution. Manage government sales and tender business, with a strong focus on

GeM portal bids

and related processes. Follow up and coordinate with local partners (LPs) for bid submissions, negotiations, and next-level actions. Oversee hub operations and ensure effective cross-functional collaboration. Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to provide insights for strategic planning.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Revenue Growth:

Achieving sales targets within assigned geographies.

Government/Institutional Sales:

Number and value of GeM bids won.

KOL Engagements:

Quality and depth of relationships built.

GeM Tender Management:

Timely submission and conversion rate of bids.

Partner Coordination:

Effectiveness in engaging and following up with LPs.

Customer Retention & Satisfaction:

Measured through follow-ups and feedback.
Qualifications

Graduate / Postgraduate in any discipline (Biotechnology / Microbiology preferred). MBA in any discipline (Microbiology preferred).
Experience & Skills Weightage

4-5 years' experience

in sales and business development of medical equipment/devices (experience in infection control preferred). - 40%*
Strong experience in

Government Sales

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - 15%*
Strong background in

KOL/Influencer engagement

within healthcare. - 15%*

Key Competencies

Proven expertise in medical equipment/device sales with a strong government sales background. Demonstrated ability in KOL and influencer engagement. In-depth knowledge of government sales processes, tenders, and GeM bids. Strong understanding of regional market dynamics. Effective leadership, coordination, and relationship management skills.
