SynergyHealth 360 PLLC is seeking a highly skilled

Medical Healthcare Biller

with

3-4 years of hands-on experience in Athenahealth

. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of

end-to-end revenue cycle management

, including claims submission, payment posting, denial management, and patient collections.

Key Responsibilities:

Submit claims through

Athena EMR

and monitor claim status Manage payment posting (ERA/EOB), patient balances, and adjustments Review

missing slips and progress notes

and

create charges accordingly

Create claims with

accurate coding support

and

submit to payers

Make necessary adjustments and

post payments

as needed Maintain accurate billing records and generate reports

Create patient demographics in Athena

and correct them based on

AR and coding team feedback

Analyze and resolve claim rejections and denials Coordinate with internal teams to resolve coding or credentialing issues Follow up on unpaid claims and handle AR workflows

Qualifications:

3-4 years of

medical billing experience using Athenahealth

Proficiency in healthcare terminology, CPT/ICD codes, and payer rules Strong problem-solving and communication skills Experience with government and commercial payers Able to work independently and meet deadlines
