Key Responsibilities Clinical Duties

Perform wound dressing, bandaging, plastering, and removal of sutures as instructed by the doctor. Assist in minor surgical procedures and emergency first aid. Clean, disinfect, and prepare procedure areas and dressing materials. Administer basic patient care such as checking vital signs when required. Ensure proper handling of sterile equipment and maintain infection control protocols. Support doctors and nurses during treatment, examinations, and emergency needs.

Operational & Support Duties

Maintain adequate stock of dressing materials, first-aid supplies, and sterile items. Ensure proper documentation of procedures, dressing notes, and consumables used. Assist in patient mobility or transfer when required. Handle biomedical waste as per hospital guidelines. Maintain cleanliness and readiness of dressing rooms and first-aid stations.

Skills & Competencies

Good knowledge of first aid, wound management, and sterile techniques. Ability to handle emergency cases calmly and effectively. Good communication and patient-handling skills. Understanding of safety, hygiene, and hospital protocols. Ability to work in rotational shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications & Experience

Minimum Qualification:

Diploma in Dresser / Certificate in Medical Dressing (from a recognized institute).

Experience:

1-3 years of experience in a hospital, clinic, or emergency care unit preferred.

Additional:

Basic computer knowledge will be an added advantage.

Working Conditions

Exposure to clinical and emergency environments. Requires standing for long periods and handling patients. Must adhere to all hospital safety and infection-control guidelines.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
