Job Description

Job Summary:

The Medical Coordinator plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of medical services. This position involves coordinating patient care, managing medical records, scheduling appointments, and acting as a liaison between patients and HCP. The Medical Coordinator is responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date information, facilitating communication, and providing administrative support to optimize patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

Patient Coordination:
Coordinate patient appointments, referrals, and follow-up care.
Serve as a primary point of contact for patients, addressing inquiries and concerns in a professional and empathetic manner.
Assist patients with navigating healthcare services and resources.
Ensure timely and accurate communication of patient information to relevant medical staff.
Medical Records Management:
Maintain accurate and confidential patient medical records, both electronic and physical.
Organize and manage medical documentation, including test results, reports, and correspondence.
Scheduling and Administrative Support:
Schedule and coordinate medical appointments, procedures, and tests.
Communication and Liaison:
Facilitate communication between patients, medical staff, and external stakeholders, such as insurance companies and other healthcare providers.
Coordinate communication with pharmacies.
Act as a liaison between patients and medical staff to ensure seamless care coordination.
Provide clear and concise information to patients regarding their care.
Compliance and Quality Assurance:
Ensure compliance with all relevant healthcare regulations and standards.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and operational efficiency.
Maintain knowledge of current medical procedures and terminology.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, nursing, or a related field (preferred). Associate's degree and relevant experience may be considered.
Proven experience in a medical coordination or healthcare administrative role.
Strong knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and healthcare regulations.
Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion.
Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
Strong customer service skills.
Preferred Qualifications:

Graduation
Experience in working with medical field
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?12,000.00 - ?25,000.00 per month
