HCF Hospital is seeking a dedicated and experienced
Camp Coordinator
to plan, execute, and manage off-site (peripheral) community health camps. The role focuses on outreach healthcare delivery, promotion of hospital services, and coordination of community-based screening and awareness programs.
Key Responsibilities
1. Planning & Logistics
Plan, organize, and execute community health camps including scheduling, site selection, and camp setup.
Obtain required permissions from local authorities and coordinate with community leaders.
Arrange transportation for medical teams, staff, and patients.
Ensure availability and management of medical supplies, diagnostic tools, and commonly used medicines.
2. Community Engagement & Marketing
Collaborate with NGOs, community leaders, local organizations, and social service groups to promote camps.
Create awareness campaigns for health issues such as eye diseases, cancer screening, diabetes, and hypertension.
Promote hospital services and build strong community relationships to increase patient participation.
3. Coordination & Communication
Act as a single point of contact between hospital departments, clinicians, local government doctors, vendors, and community partners.
Ensure smooth coordination and service delivery during camps.
4. Patient Management & Follow-up
Manage patient flow at camp sites and ensure basic facilities such as seating, drinking water, and screening areas.
Coordinate referral of patients from camp sites to the base hospital for further treatment, surgery, and long-term follow-up as per management decisions.
5. Documentation & Reporting
Maintain accurate patient records, camp statistics, and utilization data.
Prepare and submit detailed reports including utilization certificates, bills, drug registers, photographs, and activity summaries.
6. Compliance & Quality Standards
Ensure all camp activities comply with hospital policies, regulatory requirements, and health & safety standards.
Key Skills & Qualifications
Education
MSW / MBA in Hospital Management)
Experience working with rural or underserved communities is essential
Experience
Minimum
3-5 years
of experience as a Project Coordinator / Camp Coordinator
Prior experience in health camps, field-based healthcare programs, or rural healthcare initiatives preferred
Skills & Competencies
Strong organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Fluency in
Gujarati, Hindi, and English
(mandatory)
Leadership skills with the ability to work independently and within a team
High level of empathy, professionalism, and patient-centric approach
Proficiency in
MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Required to travel in different districts
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
